Watch me grow!

I LOVE being a Mommy! It is the best thing ever. Its so fun watching Nixon grow and change. I have loved every minute of it! From the first moment I held him in my arms to his first smile. From his first little coo's to his belly laughs! Every stage has been so much fun. Motherhood is just so rewarding! I was able to capture some of these moments and put together this short little clip. Hope you enjoy it!

3 Months old!

Today my little Nixon is three months old! My oh my where has the time gone? Its going by so fast for me. It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital holding him in my arms not believing that this perfect little boy belonged to me! He is so much fun to have around and I would do anything for him. Its so crazy how much my life and thinking has changed since I had him. I never really think about myself anymore.. all I think about him. Even when I go shopping I find myself wanting to only buy stuff for him! ha. Hes such a blessing in my life and I'm so grateful I was privileged to be his Mommy:)

Nixon now....
*Smiles all the time. He is so social and smiles at everyone. I can't go anywhere without someone stopping me and saying what a cute baby he is! And I would have to agree, he is pretty dang cute!
*Laughs. I'm finally able to get him to laugh at me and it is the cutest thing ever! I just love his little laugh.
*Sleeps more at night. This I love! He is Now sleeping from 9:30-10 to 9:30 and gets up only once during the night.
*Knows his parents. He definitely know who his mommy and daddy are. Its so cute to see his face light up whenever he sees his Daddy!
*Loove his baths. He absolutely LOVES his bath time! He splashes all over the placed. I swear somtime its like hes running a marathon! If only I had his energy..

Its so much fun having him in my life! He keeps me moving and entertained. Life is definitely never boring anymore now that I got my little Nixon boy. Love you baby boy.

Home shweet home!

We moved into our new apartment in Holladay a couple weeks ago. We love it here! Our ward and neighbors are so so nice. We moved from a studio apartment and its nice having more room. I love that Nixon can have his own room now. I found some paintable wallpaper at home Depot and used that to paint our fire place and kitchen. My Mom and brother came down to help me with it. It was so much fun! We bought a little BBQ and put on our little deck. We have been BBQing almost every night. Its so yummy! I loove it! Anyways love my new place, my Hubba hubba, my Babe and my life!

Fun projects..

I bought this molding set from Hobby Lobby before Nixon was born and have been wanting to do a molding of his cute little feet. After three attempt of trying to get him to hold still...I finally got it accomplished! Next I want to try and do one of his hands. We will see how that goes....

Here are some onesies that I've been working on. They are so fun and way easy to make!

I made this one for Nixon's little cousin that will be arriving in the middle of September! We are so excited for him to come!!

Fun 4th of July weekend!

For the 4th of July Ev had to work so Nixon and I went down to Delta to visit my family! We had such a good time! While we were there we went; swimming, had a BBQ, went to a bike parade, fed some horses, lit off fireworks, went to the park, caught a fish and went to the 4th of July parade. What a fun weekend!!

When I was little we use to have a little blue swimming pool that I loved to swim in! So I thought it would be fun to get one for Nixon to swim in!

Watching the fireworks.

The 4th of July parade in Delta.

Kwade loved watching the big fire trucks go by! He would always say "whoaa it's a big twuck"!

Nixon didn't like the big twucks so much... they were too loud for him!

After the parade they each had a bag full of candy! Some of the floats even threw out Popsicles!

My parents live across the street from a horse ranch and my brother works there, so we got to go over to pet and fed the horses.

Saturday morning at the park, they had a huge tub filled with fish that you could get in and try to catch one! So my little sister went it to try and get one.

Kandi trying to caught a fishy. They are fast little boogers! Plus it didn't help that they were very slippery and slimy. But it did make it very entertaining to watch all the little kids try to get a hold of one ha. After all her effort she finally got one!

Our prized fish! We named him guppy.
