four months old!

My little Nix is now four months old! My oh my where has the time gone?? He had his four month check up today, and everything checked out great. He had to get his shots today and wasn't very happy about that:(. I just hate seeing him going from smiley and happy to bright red faced and screaming his guts out. Any Mom would agree with me when I say, shots are no fun:( His Dr., Dr. Gustin, was very impressed with how he is growing and developing. He is already rolling from his back to his belly, which I guess is early for him to be doing . He is very strong in his legs and his neck. She was also impressed with his perfect skin and beautiful blue eyes. She called him a "pretty boy" and said he's going to be a heart breaker with those big blue eyes!

Growth chart

Birth 6.10 lbs 19 in
1 month 8.14lbs 12% 21.38in 41%
2 months 10.36lbs 19% 22.44in 30%
4 months 13.36lbs 20% 25.2in 62%

Now every time I put him down, within seconds he's on his belly! He hates this because he hasn't learned to roll back over and gets stuck on his belly!

Nixon at 4 months
-Smiles all the time
-Laughs when I tickle him
-Still loves his baths
-Rolls over from his back to his belly
-Drinks 6oz every feeding
-Loves to talk
-Loves to people watch
-Wears size 1-2 diapers
-Sleeps 10-11hrs through the night.
-Grabs at his toys and holds onto them
-Still fits into some of his newborn onesis. But for the most part is wearing 3-6mo.

Our Week of Fun!!

We had such a fun week! Last week we went down to St. George to visit family, and then went to Vegas. While we were in St. George we went swimming at Justin and Miranda's pool. It was so nice to be out in the sun! Evan hadn't been swimming this whole summer! So I was good to have him there with us. Nixon fell asleep in my arms sucking his thumb while we were in the pool! It was adorable!

After swimming we went shopping and ate at a new Mexican Restaurant. It was soo yummy!

The next day we headed down to Vegas for Ev's birthday. On our way out we stopped and visited with Granny and Papa Mayhew, Nixon's great Grandparents! The last time they had seen him he was only a month old, so he had changed a lot! They were so excited to get to see him. I got him to laugh for them and they thought that was just the cutest thing! Love you Grandma and Grandpa!

In Vegas we stayed with our friends Sandi, Kolby and their dog Woody. Sandi and I have been best friends since we were eight, so it was fun to get to see her!

Shopping at Town Square.

Nixon and Woody having some bonding time!

For Ev's b-day we went and looked at cars and ended up buying a little Scion XA! It's a car he has been wanting for a while and we find it for a really good price so we just couldn't pass it up!

Ev's b-day present!

Friday night we went to dinner with Sandi and Kolby at a restaraunt called Hot n' Spicy! It was featured on the TV show Man vs. Food. It was so so goood! We got Shrimp and snow Crab. They brought it out in buckets and we dumped it out on the table and dug in!

On our way home from Vegas we stopped in Delta to see my Family! It was so much fun seeing them! I just love my Family! <3>

On Sunday, we went over to Evan's parents for his birthday dinner. His Mom made one of his favorite meals, Chicken enchiladas! They were mmm mmm good! And then we had yellow cake with chocolate frosting, both of our favorites!

Well that was our fun and busy week!! Stay tuned for more news and updates;)
